Evangelism in Spain Bears Much Fruit
By Michelle Porcaro
A youth group from Celebración Cristiana, Pentecostal
church in Madrid, Spain took part in a kid’s evangelism event
from July 3rd to July 5th 2008. The youth group reached out to
the children in a Spanish territory in the northern coast of
Africa. The need in this area for spreading the gospel is
great since this is a heavily populated non-Christian,
scarcely evangelized community.

The youth group provided games, music, skits,
clowns and mimes. They also had the opportunity to share Bible
stories, a short Gospel message and offered prayer for the
sick and prayer for salvation. The group came back with great
reports of salvation, healing and a joy from serving the Lord.
They also returned feeling a strong compassion for the people
in need.
The Madrid team was most excited because hundreds of children
heard about Jesus, perhaps for the first time and many
returned to the crusade the following days asking for prayer.
Sharing the gospel with children was great, but the group was
also shown the need among the women in this community for the
Gospel.
They pray that seeds were planted during the crusade that will
bear much fruit. They also ask for prayer so that those who
attended will find freedom to come to church and that more
finances will allow them to return to another part of the city
as well.
